Chris Watts | Managing Director
Chris holds a Bachelor of Business, is a Chartered Accountant, a Registered Company Auditor and holds a Certificate of Public Practice. Chris has over 20 years professional and commercial experience, most recently being Director of Audit & Corporate Services for nine years at Bentleys in WA. During this time, the practice grew to be a leading advisor to the mining sector and was recognised as one of the top three firms in WA to be involved in the IPO market (which included the Big 4), specialising in small caps. This also resulted in the practice becoming a preferred supplier in the audit market to mining explorers and SME’s. Chris also served on the Bentleys Audit Technical Advisory Committee and played a leading role in the implementation of an auditing methodology that is compliant with Australian Auditing Standards and which has been reviewed by ASIC. Chris also was involved in the development of Quality Control procedures within the practice. In addition to the above, Chris’ previous experience included eight years as Senior Audit Manager in another National accounting practice and two years in the commercial sector, where he was Financial Accountant for the MG Kailis Group and Marlows Limited. Chris has provided audit and corporate services to listed companies, large and small proprietary companies, aged care organisations, charitable and religious organisations, schools, government departments and agencies, and variable outgoings and trust accounts. |

Lize Louwrens | Director
Lize has a Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree and a Specialisation in Auditing certificate attained at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She is a Registered Company Auditor, Self Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor and holds a Certificate of Public Practice. She is a full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (CAANZ) and has been a chartered accountant for over 14 years and has more than 17 years’ experience in Public Practice. Lize did her articles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in South Africa, progressing to assistant manager before changing roles to be part of the forensic investigation services team where she obtained valuable experience in risk management and fraud investigations. After 5 years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, she established her own accounting and tax services business for two years in South Africa before moving to Australia permanently with her family in 2009. Her experience in Australia includes 2 years at mid-tier firm Bentleys RLF, 2 years with Sothertons Perth (now UHY Haines Norton Perth) and 6 years with Anderson Munro and Wyllie audit firm audits ranging from small SMSF’s, trust accounts, trade unions and Australian financial licensees to large Pty Ltd’s and listed companies. |

Stephen Rellis - Director
Stephen commenced his audit & accountancy career in Ireland with a Chartered Accountants firm in 2001. Since migrating to Australia in 2006, Stephen has mainly worked in public practice service firms providing services in Audit, Accounting, Tax and other Consulting engagements. Stephen has been involved on a wide variety of small and large audits and other assurance engagements covering the following;
Stephen is a member of CPA, an associate member of CAANZ and a Fellow of The Tax Institute. Stephen is a Registered Company Auditor, Registered Self Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor and holds a Certificate of Public Practice from CPA. |
